Genesis: #000-051

To coincide with the publication of Genesis: #000-051, BottoDAO has created 25 unique special editions.

In Spring of 2025, the DAO created a voting pool populated with the 520 highest-voted Discards from the Genesis Period. These Discards were aggregated from the top-ten unminted works from each of the 52 weeks of the Period's 52 weeks.

The idea was to find the 25 most popular works from Botto's first year that never made it to auction, and to revive and preserve them by publishing them in Genesis: #000-051.

These 25 Discards have become the basis for the special editions, and each work was translated into both a 1/1 special edition cover and accompanying print that the DAO is offering for this auction.

The Discards are ranked from 1-25 based on how much VP they received in the voting pool, and together form a collection that celebrates the collective curatorial processes at the heart of Botto.
